€2.38 billion was traded in the third quarter of 2026.
This represents a 13.8% decrease compared to Q2, but—more importantly—a 5.8% increase year-on-year. Following a particularly active first half of the year, the market is maintaining trading volumes above last year's levels. With 960,520 transactions, investors remained highly active throughout the summer.
Leveraged products continue to account for the bulk of trading, representing 96.3% of the total value. Unlimited/Infinite BEST Turbos lead the way at 38.7%, followed by classic Turbos (21.0%), Leverage & Short products (12.5%), and Warrants (11.9%).
Regarding underlying assets, there were a few interesting shifts:
- Indices: Still firmly in the lead, accounting for 52.7% of leveraged product volumes. The CAC 40 dominates (26.7%), ahead of the NASDAQ 100 (12.9%), the Dow Jones (5.0%), and the DAX 40 (4.5%).
- Equities: A change at the top! Micron Technology takes the lead (2.81%), ahead of Nvidia (1.47%) and Tesla (1.46%). TotalEnergies (0.95%) and LVMH (0.94%) round out the top five.
- Commodities: Gold remains a key asset (4.01%), but oil also plays a significant role, with several Brent contracts ranking high on the list.
And one figure to keep in mind: €8.01 billion has already been traded in leveraged products alone since the start of the year. Q3 volume was therefore lower than Q2, yet it still showed year-on-year growth. The momentum for 2026 is well established.
